This is a 16"x24" box I am sending to a bunch of friends around the country, most of whom graduated with me! It's making nine total stops, and inside the box is a piece of masonite, on which we are all going to collaborate on! It's gonna be a fun journey, and I'm excited to see what the outcome will be! I will post more pictures as I get them!

Sketchbook page, self portrait, 11"x16." I don't have photoshop anymore, so the colors might be a little off...

Hey gang, it's been a while since I posted much of anything, but here's a painting I did of my uncle's dog "buddy." He's the devil.
Acrylic on masonite, 16"x24."

And here we be! Me and Lindsay just moved to the good old Bay Area, to "start our lives." The scenery here is beautiful, and the light is fantastic. The people are nice, and the food is GREAT. If you haven't been here, GIT!

I'll post some work in a bit...

Me and Linds went to the Minneapolis Art Museum today, and viewed some kick ass impressionistic paintings and sculptures. Some really famous paintings were there, including Sargent, Monet, Vango, etc... Good times!

Here's the final version of the wood/bark texture I started a while back. I've learned a lot about texture work, and brushes in the past month. This was the first texture I started, and now it's the last before I wrap things up!

A digital hand study, from life. I've never done a digital painting from life before, it took a little getting used to, and my left art hurts, but good times. I've finished the back of the hand, and started on the palm today...I will have it done tomorrow.

It doesn't get more exciting than sandstone!

New sketchbook page, made whilst listening to one of my favorite bands, The Appleseed Cast.

New piece for my visit to Pixar. This study I focused on a maple leaf, both living and dead, as well as different color variations.

Enjoy!

I aged two posters, one that's about halfway aged, and one that's really old.

Enjoy!

8.5x11" poster in which I will digitally rip, scratch, and make it generally look used and old for Pixar. The poster was created in Adobe Illustrator, and will be scuffed up in Photoshop.

Also I've been working on some digital texture studies to take to my visit to Pixar. I've never done digital textures before, but they're pretty fun, especially 'cause I love detail. The top is a study of bark meeting wood, and the bottom is a rust study eating the green paint.

Some new sketchbook stuff. I've been playin' around with paint and abstract stuff a bit more.
